Donald Trump has confirmed that there will be no delays in the implementation of tariffs on April 2, a date set by the American president as the day of liberation.
In an interview with NBC, he emphasized that he was ready to negotiate only if countries “are willing to give us something big, otherwise, there’s no room for negotiation.”
“I don’t care if foreign car manufacturers raise prices because of tariffs. I hope they do, because if they do, people will buy American cars, we have plenty of them,” Trump said, denying reports that he had asked CEOs of car manufacturers not to raise prices, as reported by ANSA.
The American president then reiterated his intention to acquire Greenland: “We will take it 100%,” he said, explaining that there are “opportunities” for the United States to acquire it “without military force,” but “nothing is off the table.”
