The young man who had been reported missing for several days in the Pashtrik Mountains has been found dead.
The news was confirmed by Mentor Maloku, Deputy Head of the Kosovo Search and Rescue Association.
“I spoke with the police commander there. Yes, we can confirm that he was found dead today. He was located based on the coordinates we provided using our drone,” said Maloku.
Ajet Lleshi had been reported missing by his family since last Sunday.
Numerous police forces, local residents, and search and rescue teams from Kosovo had been engaged in the search operation.
Drones and helicopters were also used during the search efforts.
