Vlora Çitaku, newly elected deputy from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), has welcomed Sudan’s recognition of Kosovo’s independence, calling it a significant step towards strengthening the country’s international subjectivity.

The PDK vice-chair emphasized that this recognition represents good news for everyone, reinforcing Kosovo’s position on the global stage.

“Sudan’s recognition is also a step towards strengthening the international subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo. This is good news for all,” Çitaku stated.

She added that the increase in the number of recognitions is crucial for consolidating Kosovo’s position on the global scene. This process becomes easier when working together with international friends and partners.

As Kosovo continues to gain global recognition, this latest acknowledgment from Sudan marks another milestone in Kosovo’s path towards greater international acceptance.
