The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has commemorated his brother Luan, who fell heroically 28 years ago.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj shared that exactly six months after their mother Rukë was born, on her birthday, 28 years ago, Luan achieved eternity.
On this occasion, in Deçan and at the Memorial Complex of the Dukagjini Operative Zone Martyrs in Gllogjan, he honored all those who gave their lives for freedom, recalling generations of patriots and fighters, including the great activist and patriot, Smajl Haradinaj.
“The pain and longing for our loved ones who we lost never fades. This was the price of freedom that they paid for us, and for many generations to come — to live free, with dignity and pride, always remembering and honoring their heroism,” Haradinaj wrote.
