Hykmete Bajrami, Deputy Chair of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), declared today that her party is open to participating in any meeting convened by President Vjosa Osmani to help resolve the ongoing political stalemate in the country.

Her remarks came shortly after filing a criminal complaint against acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and other acting ministers who were elected as MPs, accusing them of abuse of official position.

The political deadlock continues as the new Assembly, sworn in on April 19, has yet to be fully constituted due to the failure to elect a Speaker. The Vetëvendosje coalition, which includes Guxo and Alternativa, has not secured the necessary 61 votes to elect Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker of the Assembly.
