LDK MP Armend Zemaj stated that forming a transitional government is essential, even if temporary, to address the ongoing political deadlock in Kosovo.

Speaking before today’s constitutive parliamentary session, Zemaj emphasized that no solution can be reached without a political agreement, and called on the leading party to reflect and reconsider its position.

“Without political agreement, there is no solution. The LDK’s position is clear — both in our meeting with the president and here in Parliament. We’ve proposed a solution we believe is essential, even if transitional, to overcome the deadlock and move Kosovo’s institutions forward,” Zemaj said.

He warned that there is a growing attempt to capture parliamentary institutions, which he described as harmful to Kosovo’s democratic development.

Zemaj also pointed to rising prices and economic instability, asserting that the country cannot afford institutional paralysis. He urged the leading political party to take responsibility and respond to the national interest.
