Two Arrested, Around €12,000 Worth of Heroin Seized in Prishtina

Police in Prishtina have arrested two individuals suspected of possession and distribution of narcotics, specifically heroin. During the operation, over 645 grams of heroin were confiscated, with an estimated value of approximately €12,000.

According to the police statement, an initial search of one suspect uncovered and seized a small quantity of suspected heroin weighing about 0.2 grams. Additionally, police confiscated a mobile phone, a set of house keys, and cash in various currencies amounting to around €825.

At the second suspect’s location, two small bags containing a total of 2.1 grams of suspected heroin were found and seized.

Following consultation with the competent prosecutor, authorities conducted a search of one suspect’s residence, discovering six plastic bags filled with heroin weighing approximately 643.7 grams, along with two digital scales suspected of being used for distribution purposes.

Both suspects were interrogated and, following the prosecutor’s decision, have been placed in custody.
