Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Hamas continues to reject the ceasefire plan proposed by U.S. envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, regarding the situation in Gaza.
Netanyahu emphasized that Israel will continue its operations in Gaza “to return the hostages and defeat Hamas.”
Israel’s Foreign Minister also responded, blaming Hamas for the continuation of the war.
Earlier, an Israeli official said that Jerusalem is treating Hamas’s response to the plan as an “effective rejection.”
