Over 60 Wounded in Russian Attack on Ukraine; Four Dead

At least four people have been killed and over 60 wounded, including a baby, in one of the strongest Russian attacks to date on an eastern Ukrainian city. According to Ukrainian authorities, the Russian army also carried out hundreds of strikes on settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region in the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian forces reported that as of 9 AM this morning alone, 40 Russian drones were neutralized in the eastern, southern, northern, and central parts of the country, Ukrinform reports.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense forces destroyed approximately 60 Ukrainian drones over eight regions in Russia during the past night. Over Moscow, nine drones were shot down, according to the Russian capital’s mayor, Sergey Sobyanin.
