Following the tense match between Albania and Serbia at the “Air Albania” stadium in Tirana, the capital’s police have taken strict measures against lawbreakers, arresting three individuals, including a police officer, and criminally prosecuting ten others.

Two of those arrested, D. I. (31 years old) and J. Ll. (29 years old), were taken into custody for disturbing public order and peace, as well as for throwing hard objects onto the field during the match.

However, the most notable arrest was that of a 45-year-old police officer from the Public Order and Physical Security Service (SHRSF), identified as B. Ç. He was caught in the act of taking money from two Kosovar citizens with the aim of allowing them to avoid a physical search.

Police reported that the two Kosovar citizens were also processed while at large.
