A number of activists, officials, and citizens marched on Saturday from Pristina’s main square to the National Library of Kosovo’s parking lot as part of the Pride Parade, held under the motto “No Step Back.”

The parade aims to support and promote diversity and equality for the LGBTI community in Kosovo.

Among those participating in the march were the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, and ambassadors from European countries.

Following the march, a concert began at the Library’s parking lot, serving as the final event of this year’s Pride Week.

Human rights activists highlighted that the LGBTI community in Kosovo faces several challenges, including the non-approval of the Civil Code and the lack of a shelter.
