Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, held meetings with Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski and Maltese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ian Borg. These discussions took place on the sidelines of the Ministerial meeting in Taormina, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Messina Conference.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora announced that during these meetings, Gërvalla underscored the importance of continuous support from European allies for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic journey. She described this support as essential during a challenging period for Europe and the democratic world.

“The support of allies like Poland and Malta is fundamental for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path,” Gërvalla stated. “At the same time, the readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation and advance common agendas remains a key point of our mutual commitment.”

She emphasized that Kosovo will continue to contribute as a stable factor in the region and a reliable partner in bilateral and multilateral cooperation for peace, security, and a European future.
