Lammy described the current state of affairs as “dangerous,” emphasizing the urgent need for a long-term solution. He stated that there is a “window within the next two weeks” to reach a diplomatic agreement that could prevent further escalation of the crisis.
In a statement released by Senator Rubio’s spokesperson, it was affirmed that both officials fully agree that Iran must never develop or acquire nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has announced that a final decision regarding potential US military involvement in the conflict with Iran will be made within the same two-week window, directly tying it to the outcome of diplomatic efforts.
