Montenegro Donates Cultural Center in Tivat to Croatia

The Government of Montenegro has officially approved the final report on an agreement with Croatia for the donation of the real estate property housing the “Josip Marković” Cultural Center in Donja Lastva, Tivat, Rks News reports.

Under the bilateral agreement, the Montenegrin government is transferring the property to Croatia without requiring any additional consent or administrative procedures. The property will be formally registered in the name of the Croatian state in the relevant land registry.

Croatian authorities have pledged to use the facility for promoting cultural events and preserving the heritage of the indigenous Croatian minority in Montenegro. The move aims to strengthen friendly ties between the neighboring countries.
