U.S. President Donald Trump has picked up a new nickname — and this time, it came from none other than NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

During a joint press conference at the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump made a colorful comparison between the Middle East conflict and “a fight between two school kids.”

“They’ve been fighting a lot, like two kids in a schoolyard. You know, they fight furiously — you can’t stop them. Let them go for 2-3 minutes, and then it’s easier to break them up,” Trump said, referring to the ongoing hostilities between Israel and Iran.

Amused, Rutte responded with a laugh:

“And then sometimes, the father has to use strong words to make them stop.”

Trump, clearly enjoying the remark, embraced the “father” metaphor. Upon returning to the White House, he posted a highlight video from the NATO summit set to Usher’s song “Daddy’s Home”, reinforcing his self-image as the firm global leader restoring order in chaos.

The clip was released by the White House communications team as part of a broader effort to project Trump’s dominant role on the world stage, particularly in moments of international tension and conflict.
