A Serbian citizen, V.P., has been arrested by the Kosovo Police during Vidovdan celebrations, in the presence of KFOR troops and the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (IPK).

According to reports from Kossev, V.P. was the organizer of a pilgrimage trip from Belgrade, leading a group wearing shirts with political slogans, including “United Serbia” and featuring the red, blue, and white colors associated with Serbian nationalism.

The arrest took place without resistance, and heightened security was observed on the ground — with increased police presence and KFOR vehicles stationed throughout Graçanica, a Serb-majority area near Prishtina where Vidovdan events are held.

The head of the Graçanica Police Station, Bratislav Trajković, declined to provide further details about the arrest and directed all media inquiries to the Kosovo Police press office.

According to Radio KiM reporters on the scene, law enforcement units remain visibly mobilized to ensure order and prevent provocations during the sensitive nationalistic commemoration, often used as a platform for politically charged demonstrations.
