The sister of Blagoje Spasojeviq, a suspect linked to the armed attack in Banjska on September 24, 2023, was observed attending the Vidovdan commemorations today in northern Kosovo.
As part of security protocols, Kosovo Police conducted a routine check on her during the event, which is traditionally marked by the Serbian community.
Blagoje Spasojeviq remains a key suspect in the Banjska attack, during which Police Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed, and multiple security units were involved.
Given the sensitive nature of this year’s Vidovdan observances and the potential for heightened tensions, law enforcement agencies are maintaining close surveillance.
