Texas Floods: Death Toll Rises to 51, Including 15 Children

At least 51 people have died as a result of the devastating floods that struck Texas, according to BBC, RKS News reports.

Among the victims are 15 children, while dozens of others remain missing.

The hardest-hit area is Kerr County, where 43 deaths have been confirmed and 27 children are still reported missing. Sheriff Larry Leitha has vowed that search and rescue operations will continue until every missing person is found.

Local authorities are working at full capacity to cope with the aftermath of this natural disaster.
