Ahead of the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly, AAK Deputy Bekë Berisha stated that he would personally vote for any candidate proposed by the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) for Speaker of the Assembly, as he views them all as identical.
“No Choice” Among VV Candidates
According to Berisha, there’s little distinction between potential VV nominees. “There should have been a will to get out of this situation, if there is a will. We are talking a bit, but there are, for example, different concerns – no, I would have voted for that one. What distinguishes me from the group is that to me, they all seem the same, there’s nothing to choose from there. Whoever they put forward, it belongs to them by the Constitution, but vote for whoever it is, because they are all the same,” Berisha said.
