Nait Hasani, a deputy from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), stated before the start of the 43rd constitutive session of the Assembly that responsibility for the continued failure to constitute the Assembly falls on all political parties..
Lack of Initiative and Constitutional Court Decision
According to Hasani, there’s a lack of willingness among parties to take the necessary steps towards a solution, though he emphasized that the winning party bears the greatest responsibility.
“No one is ready to take the initiative to find a solution,” Hasani said, adding that the Constitutional Court’s decision is pending implementation.
“The Constitutional Court has issued a decision, and we are waiting to see if there will be changes or not. It’s entirely the responsibility of the political party leaders to find a solution; the first party has the biggest responsibility, and other parties also bear responsibility proportionally. No one is ready to take the initiative to make a solution,” Hasani reiterated.
