Prishtina, July 11, 2025 — Fitore Pacolli, MP from the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV), has publicly accused the opposition parties PDK, LDK, and AAK of deliberately blocking the formation of the Assembly of Kosovo, in violation of the Constitution and the Assembly’s Rules of Procedure.

In a Facebook post, Pacolli warned that if the Assembly is not constituted by the end of the month, serious consideration should be given to imposing sanctions on MPs who refuse to participate in the voting process including the potential revocation of their mandates.

Full statement:
“PDK, LDK, and AAK are blocking the constitution of the Assembly, violating both the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure. They blame Vetëvendosje, but they themselves are the ones blocking it.

If the Assembly is not constituted by the end of the month, mandates must be removed from those who refuse to vote. We cannot go on like this!”

The political standoff, which has persisted for over three months, continues to paralyze legislative activity in the country, with mounting concern over potential constitutional consequences if a solution is not reached soon.
