Kosovo Police on Friday arrested Igor Popović, the assistant director of Serbia’s so-called “Office for Kosovo,” following a speech he delivered in Rahovec earlier in the day. During his address, Popović reportedly described the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) as a terrorist organization.
Arrest at Border Point, Evidence Seized
Police confirmed that Popović was arrested at the Bërnjak border crossing under suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “inciting discord and intolerance.” As evidence, two of his mobile phones were temporarily seized. Following questioning, he was taken into custody.
