Shots Fired at Skanderbeg Square, Police Provide Details

Gunshots were fired today at Skanderbeg Square in Pristina, the location of the “Akull n’Verë” (Ice in Summer) festival.

Police spokesperson Florie Ahmeti confirmed the incident, stating that authorities received a report of gunfire around 10:40 p.m. Police units immediately arrived at the scene.

“Police units immediately went to the scene, where they arrested a suspect and seized a firearm,” Ahmeti said. She added that no injuries were reported. Police investigators have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the case.
