The Acting Minister of Education has announced the approval of the Administrative Instruction for the 2025/26 school year calendar, which clearly defines the academic schedule for all educational institutions in Kosovo.
According to the instruction, the new school year will begin on September 1, 2025, and conclude on June 19, 2026.
In a social media post, Minister Arbërie Nagavci shared details from the approved document:
“This instruction sets the start and end dates of the school year in all public and private institutions, covering various levels of education — from preschool institutions, primary schools, pre-primary classes, and lower and upper secondary schools, to resource centers for learning and counseling. It also outlines the autumn, winter, and spring breaks, as well as official holidays, ensuring a clear and structured calendar for all students and teachers,” Nagavci wrote.
