German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, commented on the ongoing political crisis in the country, reiterating a statement he made in April: “If the team fails, replace someone on the team.”
In an interview with Info Magazine, Rohde said he still stands by this analogy, adding that “after 55 attempts, maybe it’s time to change the team.”
He explained, “As I suggested in April, using a football analogy, if your team isn’t successful, replace someone from the team. The same applies now because the problem persists. After 55 attempts, perhaps it’s time to make changes, as I am aware of the opposition’s reactions—they have stated they will support the government only while certain cabinet members remain in office.”
Rohde emphasized that political parties need the willingness to compromise and that political actors should focus on resolving problems rather than deepening them.
