The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has announced that she will be in Washington tomorrow to attend the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump.
She shared this information herself via a post on the platform “X,” emphasizing that the invitation to participate in the meeting came directly from the Ukrainian president.
“At the request of President Zelensky, I will join President Trump and other European leaders at the White House tomorrow,” von der Leyen wrote, without specifying which other leaders will be present.
