Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has responded to the latest data published by the American research center Gallup, which measured the perception of well-being across various countries worldwide.

Kurti highlighted that Kosovo has achieved remarkable progress over the past decade in the Life Evaluation Index, rising from 11% in 2014 to 51% in 2024, representing citizens who state that they are “living well.”

“In this year’s Gallup Life Evaluation Index, Kosovo stands out as the country with the highest growth in reported well-being,” Kurti wrote in a post on the social media platform X.

He emphasized that the improvement in the perception of life in Kosovo represents a significant achievement and is a clear indicator of a deep socio-economic transformation in the country.

“In 2014, only 11% of the population reported they were thriving; by last year, that number had risen to 51%, representing more than half of the population,” Kurti added.

The acting Prime Minister stated that the government is “proud to have created a favorable environment for the well-being of all citizens.”
