The Serbian List announced in a media statement that it has filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo regarding what it describes as “serious violations of the rights of the Serbian people during the Assembly sessions.”
The complaint follows the recent voting for Deputy Speakers of the Assembly from various communities.
“Constitutional and democratic principles have been seriously violated, and the Serbian people are unable to exercise their guaranteed rights,” the statement reads.
The Serbian List called on the Constitutional Court to act urgently:
“We expect the Constitutional Court to respond immediately and take all necessary measures to uphold the rule of law, as well as to protect the rights of the Serbian people in accordance with the applicable legal acts,” the statement added.
