The Western Balkans, including Kosovo, continues to remain one of the key priorities of Germany’s foreign policy, officials emphasized at the opening of the 23rd Conference of Ambassadors held this week in Berlin.
The conference was opened with speeches by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, who underlined the importance of Germany’s partnership with the region and the need for close cooperation to ensure peace, stability, and shared development.
In the coming days, Germany’s Ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde, along with colleagues from across the globe, will participate in discussions on the strategic directions of German foreign policy and new ways to strengthen international cooperation.
The Berlin Ambassadors’ Conference remains one of the most important forums for shaping Germany’s foreign policy and defining its global priorities with international partners.
