Edi Rama has officially begun his new term as Prime Minister of Albania, marking his fourth mandate at the helm of the government.
Today, the Albanian Parliament also voted on the government’s program.
On this occasion, the leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti, extended congratulations to his friend.
“I congratulate you as a brother congratulates a brother on your re-election as head of the Albanian Government, with my most sincere wishes for success in the implementation of the governing program,” Ahmeti said.
Ahmeti declared that today, there is no greater national patriotic act than a European Albania, and that this journey must be supported by all.
“Your dedication and Albania’s commitment to European integration are exemplary, and I hope it inspires us to join Albania on this path. Edi, I wish you health and prosperity in this very important mandate for Albania and the Albanians, but also for the region. May all the best be with you and Albania,” he emphasized.
