Real Madrid secured an easy victory over Espanyol in La Liga, extending their perfect start to the season.

The team, managed by Xabi Alonso, won 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabéu, marking their fifth consecutive win in as many matches.

Real took the lead in the first half with a stunning 31-meter goal by Éder Militão, which ended the half at 1-0. The second half continued to belong entirely to the Madrid side.

Kylian Mbappé added a second goal in the 47th minute, scoring another beautiful strike from outside the penalty area.

In addition to the victory, Real received a boost with the return of two key players, Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham, both coming back from injuries.

With this win, Real Madrid reaches 15 points after five matches, while Espanyol remains at 10 points.
