Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia continues to feel confident enough to escalate the war and increase threats to Europe.

Speaking at the European Political Community (EPC) meeting on Thursday in Denmark, Zelensky emphasized that recent drone incidents are a clear indicator of Moscow’s destabilization ambitions.

“The recent drone incidents across Europe are a clear sign that Russia still feels bold enough to escalate this war and wants to divide Europe, spark debates, and prevent us from finding common ground,” Zelensky said.

He highlighted that drone attacks on Poland and airspace violations in Northern Europe serve as serious warnings to all other countries.

“If the Russians dare to launch drones against Poland or violate the airspace of Northern European countries, it means this could happen anywhere—in Western Europe, in the south—and we need a fast and effective response,” he added.

Zelensky called on European leaders to accelerate the approval of the 19th sanctions package against Russia and to support U.S. President Donald Trump’s call to halt Russian oil purchases in Europe.

He also directly addressed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, stating that the message must be understood.

“Even the guys from Hungary need to hear this,” Zelensky said, expressing confidence that energy support from the U.S. and other partners can fill the gap in the European market.
