A serious incident occurred at the Court of Appeals in Tirana, where gunfire erupted, leaving Judge Astrit Kalaja injured.
According to initial reports, several shots were fired inside the court premises. Sources confirmed that Judge Kalaja was in the courtroom at the time of the attack, when he was struck by the bullets.
Journalist Anila Hoxha reported that the shooting happened suddenly during a session, prompting an immediate security response. Authorities have since cordoned off the area, and an investigation is underway to determine the motive and identity of the shooter.
