The Central Election Commission (CEC) has issued a public reminder to all eligible voters in Kosovo to verify their assigned polling station ahead of the Local Elections on October 12.
Voters can easily check their polling location through the CEC’s online platform: https://qv.kqz-ks.org.
To access the system, voters need to enter their personal ID number and date of birth. The platform will then display detailed information, including the exact address of the polling center, which can also be viewed directly via Google Maps.
The CEC emphasizes that each voter can only cast their ballot in the municipality where they are registered, as each municipality functions as a separate electoral zone. Ballots for local elections are distributed exclusively for the respective municipality.
Conditional voting is also only permitted within the voter’s municipality of registration and takes place in designated conditional voting centers established by the CEC.
In total, one special conditional voting center has been designated in each municipality to facilitate this process.
