A foreign national was stopped at Pristina International Airport “Adem Jashari” after an empty firearm magazine was discovered during a routine security check.
According to the 24-hour police report, officers confiscated the empty magazine, while the suspect was released pending regular legal procedures.
The incident occurred on October 18, 2025, at 19:50, when security personnel detected the item in the passenger’s luggage during departure screening. The case was handled in coordination with the Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor’s Office.
“A foreign male, during departure screening, was found with an empty long-weapon magazine. The magazine was confiscated, and by the prosecutor’s decision, the suspect was released under regular procedure,” the police statement read.
