President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev in Riyadh, emphasizing strong bilateral ties and shared aspirations for regional stability and European integration.

In a statement on Facebook, Osmani highlighted discussions with Radev on removing unfair measures against Kosovo and advancing Kosovo’s application for EU candidate status.

She wrote: “President Rumen Radev is a friend of Kosovo and a strong supporter of our Euro-Atlantic aspirations. In our meeting in Riyadh, the focus was on removing unjust measures against Kosovo and advancing our application for EU candidate status, as part of our joint efforts to strengthen regional stability and deepen cooperation between our countries within the European and Euro-Atlantic partnership framework.

The meeting underscores Kosovo’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with EU member states and garner support for its European integration goals, while fostering regional cooperation in the Balkans.
