President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received the letters of credence from Mr. Muhammad Zulqar Nain, the new non-resident Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of Kosovo.
During the meeting, President Osmani warmly welcomed Ambassador Nain and expressed her gratitude for the continued support that Bangladesh has shown to the Republic of Kosovo on the international stage.
She recalled her meeting with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus, during the UN High-Level Week in New York, where both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, grounded in friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect between their peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Nain expressed Bangladesh’s strong will to deepen diplomatic relations and to build new bridges of cooperation between the two nations. He conveyed the warm greetings of Bangladesh’s leadership to the people of Kosovo, expressing confidence that relations between the two countries will continue to grow stronger in the future.
This meeting highlights the ongoing expansion of Kosovo’s diplomatic relations and its increasing recognition as a reliable partner in global cooperation, especially with nations such as Bangladesh that support peace, mutual progress, and international solidarity.
