Today one of the qualification matches will take place, the one between Kosovo and Slovenia.

This match is crucial for both teams as it may determine their path toward the 2026 World Cup.

Ahead of the match, which begins at 20:45, the Football Association of Slovenia has issued warnings and instructions for the fans of both national teams.

The Slovenian Football Association has prepared special guidelines for Kosovo fans to make it easier to reach the stadium and to improve their overall experience.

According to the association, the gates of the “Stožice” stadium will open at 18:45, two hours before kick-off. To avoid crowds, all fans are invited to a special fan zone on the platform in front of Stand C between 18:00 and 20:00, where an accompanying program will take place.

They have asked all visitors to arrive on time (to be at the entrance indicated on their ticket no later than 19:00) and to use one of the recommended parking areas.

In addition, the Slovenian Federation issued a notice for the home fans, who are expected to fill all other parts of the stadium.

“Given that Stožice Stadium will be fully booked for the match between Slovenia and Kosovo, we call on all fans of the Slovenian national football team to come equipped with jerseys (white), scarves, and flags (without sticks, of course) to show your support for the players on the field. If you still do not have the ‘mandatory fan gear,’ we recommend visiting the official 11TS shop in Ljubljana or the fan zone before the match,” the statement says.

“The Football Federation of Slovenia calls on all visitors to respect the rules of conduct and promote sportsmanship in the stands. For security reasons and in accordance with the guidelines of the competent authorities, entry to the stadium will only be permitted with Slovenian national and team symbols, except in the sector specifically designated for away fans (Sector D).”

“Fans who arrive with fan symbols of other countries will be denied entry to sectors A, B, and C. In such cases, they will be able to leave their fan items in a special storage area at the stadium entrance and re-enter the admission process.”

“We ask all fans to understand and follow the instructions of stadium security and the organizers, as we want to ensure a safe and pleasant sports atmosphere for all participants,” the notice concludes.
