The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, in a statement to the media outside the Assembly of Kosovo, said that President Vjosa Osmani made an incorrect assessment regarding whether LVV would have the required 61 votes to elect Glauk Konjufca as prime minister.

Abdixhiku said it was evident from the start that LVV did not have the numbers, adding that nowhere in the world does a minority govern over a majority.

According to Abdixhiku, Osmani made a mistake when she mandated Konjufca.

“It is a misreading, a major mistake, and a cost for Kosovo. From the beginning, it was clear they didn’t have the numbers. There is no country in the world where a minority governs the majority. It’s nothing but a waste of time,” Abdixhiku said.
