+The Kosovo Police recently opened a tender to supply uniforms for the officers of the Bicycle Unit.
However, the tender was not finalized with a contract, as a provision in the Public Procurement Law required the cancellation of this process, reports IndeksOnline.
The e-procurement notice indicates that only one economic operator submitted a bid for this tender.
For this supply, a budget of no less than €125,980.00 had been allocated.
The tender notice also detailed the specific uniform requirements:
“The subject of the contract concerns the supply of long trousers, shorts, white shirts (polo), cyclist gloves, helmets, polarized sunglasses, cycling shoes, and summer jackets for the Bicycle Unit according to the needs of the contracting authority.”
It is still unclear whether the Kosovo Police will issue a re-tender for this supply.
