Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced at a government session that funds will be allocated to RTK, and these resources come from the government’s savings category.

He emphasized that this measure is merely a forced improvisation.

“Since August, we implemented a temporary solution by providing an overdraft for RTK, hoping that after the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly and the establishment of parliamentary committees, a proper solution would be achieved — a responsibility shared by all political parties. We did not have sufficient votes, as other parties categorically refused RTK salaries. As Minister Hekuran Murati indicated at the press conference, we have considered several possible options to resolve this situation. In today’s session, we are allocating the necessary funds from the savings category. This solution, or rather this current approach, is nothing more than a forced improvisation following our continuous efforts to approve the RTK budget there,” said Kurti.
