Operation “Kulla”: What Is Known So Far About the Major Anti-Drug Bust in Prishtina

Kosovo Police have successfully concluded a large-scale anti-drug operation codenamed “Kulla”, resulting in the arrest of four individuals, the seizure of more than 4.6 kilograms of cocaine, and the confiscation of weapons, vehicles, and cash. Two additional suspects remain at large.

The operation, first reported exclusively by Sinjali, was officially confirmed by the Kosovo Police and carried out on December 12, 2025, at around 17:10, on “Besim Ndreca” Street in Prishtina, following several months of intensive investigations.

How the Operation Was Conducted

According to police sources, the operation was led by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate (DHTN) in Ferizaj, in close coordination with the case prosecutor, the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), DHTN Prishtina, support units, and special intervention teams.

The tactical plan, officially labeled “KULLA”, targeted an organized criminal network suspected of drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons.

Arrested and Wanted Suspects

The individuals arrested during the operation are:

  • Ardian Lika (approx. 52 years old)
  • Miri Bodlli (approx. 54 years old)
  • Adem Braholli (approx. 28 years old)
  • Shpëtim Braholli (approx. 32 years old)

Meanwhile, two suspects remain on the run, one of whom has been identified as Leutrim Zeka (approx. 31 years old).

Seized Evidence and Contraband

During the operation and subsequent searches, police seized a significant amount of evidence, including:

  • Over 4.6 kilograms of cocaine, divided into four packages and wrapped in foil marked “VESPA”
  • One Glock pistol (Made in Austria), caliber 9mm Luger, with a magazine and 14 rounds of ammunition
  • Mobile phones (iPhone and Samsung)
  • Cash in euros, Albanian lek, and Canadian dollars
  • Mercedes C200 vehicle
  • Volkswagen Golf 6
  • Quad motorbike
  • Plastic bags and gloves suspected to have been used for drug packaging

Authorities estimate the street value of the seized narcotics at approximately €140,000.

Ongoing Investigation

Three residential properties in Prishtina were searched as part of the investigation. The arrested suspects were interviewed in the presence of their defense lawyers and, by order of the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj, were placed under 48-hour detention.

Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and have not ruled out further arrests as the probe into this criminal network continues.
