The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor announced that approximately 100 state prosecutors and prosecutorial officials will be deployed across Kosovo to ensure the integrity of the early parliamentary elections on December 28.
The State Prosecutor confirmed that all necessary preparations have been made to protect citizens’ right to vote freely and to monitor the electoral process for any irregularities.
“The State Prosecutor calls on the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, all political parties, institutions, and organizations to report to the relevant prosecutors any cases where there is suspicion of voter manipulation or misuse in any form, by anyone,” the announcement said.
Prosecutors will remain on duty throughout Kosovo until the completion of the election process, ready to investigate and act upon any violations to safeguard democratic principles.
