Jashari Meets Bottcher, Discusses Current Security Situation and FSK Development

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, met with Christian Böttcher, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy in Kosovo, according to Gazeta Sinjali.

At the start of the meeting, General Jashari thanked Böttcher for the support provided by the Federal Republic of Germany to Kosovo, particularly in the establishment and development of the Kosovo Security Force since its inception.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the current developments within the FSK, its priorities and needs, as well as future planning processes. They also discussed the current security situation and emphasized the importance of cooperation and partnership in addressing common challenges.

“Both sides agreed on the importance of deepening cooperation and bilateral military relations between the Republic of Germany and the Republic of Kosovo, specifically regarding the Kosovo Security Force,” the FSK statement reads.
