“On the day that marks the second triumph of our family, after facing the fight to protect the doorstep of our home and giving the call that the enemy’s days on this land are numbered—as our grandfather used to say, ‘only the foot of an Albanian endures’—our family grows and flourishes every day.
Hamëza, proudly bearing the name of his grandfather, became engaged to Enesa Imeri, in a free Kosovo, this Kosovo built on strong foundations, foundations first laid by young martyrs whose sacrifice for freedom made them immortal.
Joys like this in our family awaken the memory of father Shaban, Commander Adem, and grandfather, who turned the fight for freedom into an eternal celebration. Even during the three-day battle, the song never stopped.
