A Serbian national has been arrested in Podujevë after he is suspected of taking around €200 from a café in the city.
Police classified the offense as “misappropriation of another person’s property” and announced that the suspect has been placed in detention.
“19 Qershori Street, Podujevë, 19.01.2026 – 13:00. The male suspect, a Serbian national, was arrested after he managed to take approximately €200 in cash from the premises of the victim, a Kosovar female. By decision of the prosecutor, following the interview, the suspect was sent to detention,” the police statement said.
