The Democratic Party (PD) held its second nationwide protest today in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

PD leader Sali Berisha urged citizens, particularly the youth, to “rise to the mission” and restore **hope, freedom, rights, and the future of Albania.” Hours before the protest, he called on supporters to hold the prime minister accountable.

Authorities deployed 1,300 police officers, including fire and medical services, to maintain order and safety. The Prime Minister’s Office has been fortified and secured ahead of the demonstration.

Berisha began the march from the PD headquarters, leading thousands of supporters to the Prime Minister’s Office. Details of the protest program remain discreet, but participation is reported to be massive.
