Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Abelard Tahiri commented ahead of today’s extraordinary parliamentary session on the formation of the new government, addressing whether PDK would attempt to form a government if Albin Kurti fails to secure a majority.
“That’s another matter. This extraordinary session has been called to see whether the outgoing Prime Minister, in this case Albin Kurti, has formed a parliamentary majority. If he fails, then naturally, the next steps will follow according to the Constitution — by the President and the parties,” Tahiri stated.
Tahiri avoided giving a direct answer about PDK’s potential move, emphasizing instead that the constitutional process will determine the next political step.
