Arb Manaj has been named the best footballer of the 15th round of the Kosovo Superliga, an award given by the Football Federation of Kosovo.
The weekly best player is chosen by the Football Veterans’ Commission, which selected Manaj as the “Player of the Week” after the forward assisted in the second goal and scored the third goal, making him FC Drita’s standout player in their important 2-3 victory against FC Ballkani. This win secured 3 points for his team, giving them an 8-point lead at the top of the table.
After receiving this award, Manaj expressed his happiness for being named the best player of the week: “It was a derby match and very difficult, as we were traveling to FC Ballkani, a team that hasn’t lost at home for two and a half years. But we managed to win. We’ve won four consecutive matches, and I hope we win all three matches until the end of the season. I’m happy with my individual performance, but the most important thing is that I’m helping the team. The biggest thanks go to my teammates,” he said on the official FFK website.
