US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has just announced that the US will provide an additional $2 billion in military funding to Ukraine.
Speaking from Kiev, where the secretary of state is on a two-day visit, he said the additional fund would be able to provide weapons “today” and invest in Ukraine’s industrial base.
“We are rushing in ammunition, armored vehicles, missiles and air defense to get them to the front line,” Blinken.
The Secretary of State said that the United States was “intensely focused” on providing air defense systems, which Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly requested from allies, writes Skynews.
